The Dry Fly Magnet Hat is everything you will want in a fly fishing hat… plus it has a built in magnet that will hold a few of your favorite flies while you are on the water. It has a classic trucker hat shape and design with a breathable mesh back and adjustable snap closure. A slightly curved brim and a medium height crown. The hat’s structure is definitely a step up from the old “Dad hat” but not too steep. The bottom of the brim is black to reduce glare reflecting up off the water. The sweat band is also black to avoid discoloration and ever looking dirty. The branding on the crown is big and bold - clearing answering the question of your fly preference. Dry Fly branding on the inside tape and on a small tag on the back left.

The feature that really makes this hat special is the magnet. Simply hold your fly up to the magnet and it snaps into place. A great way to dry a fly that’s been chewed on by a fish or started sinking after too many casts. The magnet holds barbed and de-barbed hooks just as well. The magnet will hold multiple flies. You can load up the magnet before you head out on the river or just use the magnet when you are quickly changing flies out on the water. It is a great way to dry flies before putting them back in your fly box. Keeps wet flies and moisture out of your fly box eliminating the risk of your hooks getting rusty.
