Christophe Pourny Furniture Tonic nurtures wood as it restores the luster and shine that time and sun can diminish. The tonic is made from natural, non-toxic ingredients that are friendly to the environment and sourced in North America. Organic Linseed and Walnut Oils are natural cures for wood worn by time. Essential oils and beeswax are added to every bottle, as well as a natural cleanser and drying agent. The tonic is mixed by hand in small batches in NYC.

Christophe Pourny was born and raised in the Var region of Southern France. Growing up in his parents antique store in Fayence made the love of furniture and artisanal techniques second nature to Christophe.
After University in NICE, an apprenticeship at his Uncle’s shop on the Rue Jacob in Paris would inspire Christophe to be involved in the family tradition of working with anitques. Pierre Madel was a legend and his loyal clientele spanned all the way from San Francisco to St. Tropez. New York was calling Chirstophe, and Twenty Five years ago he moved to New York and opened his restoration studio in Brooklyn. The studio specializes in French polish, Ceruse finishes, Straw Marquetry, antique restoration, & custom furniture production. The studio is proud to call some of the most talented interior designers in the industry clients. Christophe has also worked extensively on the restoration of City Hall, Gracie Mansion, & The Holy See Mission to The United Nations.
